1/29/21 - This is a Colt Official Police revolver, heavy barrel variation, from 1947. Six inch barrel, chambered for .38 special. Original blue rates at 90-92% most of the wear on either side of the barrel, and some scratches on the right side of the frame. Mint bore and good mechanics. Grips have no cracks or chips but some handling wear. Police property number is marked on the bottom of the frame.
